Civil Ceremony Hire covers a 3 hour period and includes use of the Ceremony Room and grounds. For legal reasons the hire time must commence 1 hour before the Ceremony.
Room Hire – for Small Receptions and Private Parties Room Hire includes use of the Old Laundry & Garden Room and grounds. Garden Room Seating Capacity: · Up to 24 guests can be seated around one large ‘banquet’ table or three round tables (8 per table). · Up to 33 guests can be seated around three round tables (8 per table) and one top ‘banquet’ table (seats 9). · Up to 48 guests can be seated around eight ‘banquet’ tables (6 per table). Alternatively the Old Laundry and Garden Room can accommodate up to 80 guests for a stand-up drinks reception.
If outside caterers are used a room is available for food preparation and kitchens may be hired if required.
Hire of Grounds for a Marquee Hire of the Grounds for a Marquee is exclusively for the day of the event itself and includes Room Hire. Mini Marquee: Ideal when extra space is needed for a drinks reception or small disco. The marquee would be located on the Terrace adjacent to the Garden Room.
Capri marquees can be erected on two lawn areas; either on the Back Lawn (seating up to 50 guests) or the Main Lawn at the front of the house (seating up to 150 guests). Clear
Span Marquees can be erected on the Back Lawn (seating up to 120 guests) or
Main Lawn (seating up to 150 guests). Clear Span Marquees with wooden panelled
flooring (seating up to 200) may also be erected on the
NB the above numbers may be increased if additional guests are invited to an evening reception after the main meal.
Both prices include one day for the marquee to be erected, the day of the booked event and one day for it to be dismantled. Any extra days when a marquee is left on site an additional charge of £300.00 per day will be made. It is the responsibility of the client to book, and pay for, the hire of the marquee as well as to check when it will be erected and dismantled.
Barn Hire The Barn can be hired either on its own or else it can be combined with Room Hire (very useful if you have guests ie Great Aunt Maud, who might want a quiet space to get away from all the noise!) The Barn can seat up to 80 guests or up to 150 for an evening reception.
Prices correct as of 1st September 2007 and are subject to change. All prices include use of toilets, which have both wheelchair access and baby changing facilities, although if numbers exceed 120 guests mobile toilets may need to be hired in. Bookings are only confirmed on receipt of a signed copy of the Terms of Booking and a security deposit bond. |
